History

2 year old male intact great dane. Spinal pain

Findings

Right lateral and VD views are available.

There is moderate lysis of the caudal endplate of L7 and cranial endplate of S1. Additionally, there is mutifocal sclerosis surrounding these areas of lysis.

There are moderate degenerative changes to the articular facet joints in the lumbar spine.

Multifocal spondylosis deformans is also present in the lumbar and lumbosacral regions.

Diagnosis

1. Discospondylitis affecting L7-S1.

2. Multifocal degenerative spinal changes.
