Findings

There is an increase in soft tissue opacity within the left stifle joint, which has lobular, well-defined cranial margins, causing deviation and deformation of the infrapatellar fat pad. This opacity is also identified bulging the caudal capsule of the stifle joint.

There are focal, concave lucencies identified within the apex of the patella and proximal tibial condyles.

There is mild periarticular new bone formation associated with the left stifle joint. There is cranial deviation of the tibia in relation to the femur.

Diagnosis

Discussion

Fine needle aspirates of the stifle were consistent with histiocytic sarcoma
