Findings

Orthogonal radiographs of the whole body and head are available for interpretation. A rostrocaudal view was also acquired.

On the left side there is a short complete fracture of the left orbital ring.

There are numerous bone fragments within the ventriculus consistent with the recent ingestion of a prey. There is mild subcutaneous emphysema and swelling surrounding the left proximal femur medially.

Diagnosis

Close complete fracture of the left orbital ring.

Subcutaneous emphysema and swelling are consistent with the reported history of fluid administration.
