Findings

Orthogonal radiographs of the thorax are available for interpretation.

Diffusely throughout the lung parenchyma there is a severe bronchial to broncho-interstitial pattern. The cardiac silhouette and pulmonary vasculature are considered to be within normal limits.

Diagnosis

Pulmonary changes are most consistent with severe chronic lower airway disease such as feline asthma. Underlying infectious or parasitic cause cannot be ruled out.

Pathology Report

Feline asthma. The cat improved significantly on steroid therapy.
