Findings

Overall the cardiovascular structures are within normal limits. Diffusely throughout the pulmonary parenchyma but mainly in the caudal thorax there are numerous well-defined rounded soft tissue nodules of various sizes. There are also numerous mineralized pulmonary osteomas throughout the pulmonary parenchyma. At the level of the left scapula there is a large ill-defined expansile lytic mass. Incidentally there is mild to moderate ventral spondylosis and DJD of the shoulder joints.

Diagnosis

Pulmonary metastasis secondary to a scapular neoplasia. DDX: osteosarcoma/fibrosarcoma/chondrosarcoma. This came back as an osteosarcoma.
