Findings

Throughout the abdominal cavity there are numerous areas of plicated loops of small intestines. Within the gastro-intestinal tract there are rounded well defined circular gas lucencies. On the left lateral projection there remains granular radioopaque material within the lumen of the pylorus. On the edge of the both lateral projections, but more so on the right one, the caudal vena cava is reduced in size. The abdominal serosal detail is within normal limits, there is no evidence of free abdominal gas.

Diagnosis

Linear foreign body within the small intestines with likely presence of foreign material within the pylorus. Hypovolemia. Incidentally the VD projection is mislabelled.
