Findings

Abdomen: There is good serosal detail within the abdominal cavity. There is a large well defined, approximately 2.6cm in diameter, soft tissue mass visualized in the retroperitoneal space just cranial to the left kidney. The left kidney is displaced caudally.

Diagnosis

Changes are consistent with a left adrenal gland mass.

Due to the history of low potassium - aldosterone levels were performed and came back elevated at 3214 pmol/L (reference range 194-388).

Pathology Report

Hyperaldosteronism secondary to Adrenocortical carcinoma
