Findings

Multiple projections centered on the proximal phalanx of the right fore foot are available for interpretation.

Multiple fragment lines are seen thoughout the second phalanx of the right fore foot. This fracture spans both articular surfaces. A fragment in the lateroproximopalmar border of this bone is mildly displaced palmarily. A few pinpoint mineral opacities are seen dorsal to the proximal interphalangeal joint. New bone formation is present along the dorsal margin of the second phalanx as well as the location of the insertion of the oblique sesamoid ligaments on the first phalanx.

Impression: Comminuted bi-articular fracture of the second phalanx of the right fore foot as described. Degenerative changes of the first and second phalanx as described.
